@cocoa Wow!
Are you OK?
What was happen?
@[email protected] The car skidded while turning right while driving on a rainy road due to poor tires. I'm OK!
@cocoa I relived to hear you are not hurt.
Your Kia looks so poor
What tire did you used? Is it Kumho Solus
@[email protected] It was OE tire, I think that was Kumho
That Kia repaired perfectly at this time!
@cocoa It's nice.
How much was it cost to reopair your car?
@[email protected] It was covered by insurance, I was paid 300,000 KRW. Insurance paid more than 3,000,000 KRW.
@cocoa I see.
Glad you were able to fix your car with little expense.
@cocoa 700,000 JPY!?
Is it 6,170,000 KRW?
It's too expensive!
In Korea, are car insurances commonly expensive? Or is the price depends on model of the car?
@[email protected] depends on model of the car and driver age and I was really young at that time.
@cocoa I see.
I also spend a lot of money for insurance in my young age. If I choose CDW, the cost would be sky high.
What car did you own in that time?
@[email protected] It was IONIQ 5 Long Range.
@cocoa Wow! You are rich. I'm jealous.
In Japan, BEV's insurance are highly expensive. Tesla are rejected from some insurance companies.
@[email protected] In Korea, Companies can't reject If car owner wants get covered about required insurance(책임보험), but they can invoice high bill and that unlimited.
I'm not rich, at least now! At that time, government subsidy was made EV to reasonable choice.
@[email protected] A few years ago, I used to drive a car that I bought myself, so I paid for the insurance myself, which was about 700,000 yen per year. Now I drive a rental car with insurance included on a long-term lease, so I don't know the exact value.
