Mastodon公式のOmniAuth::Mastodonがログイン時に必要もないのにユーザー名を要求するんだけど、これ公式の動作変えたほうがいいかな？

Official library OmniAuth::Mastodon requires username when login, but it not necessary. Does it prefer to change the behavior of official lib or not?
